Walls Alive was pleased to be apart of the renovation and re opening of the Oxford Learning Centre (High Park). The vibrant colours and use of the new Benjamin Moore Aura Eco Paint System made the painting process easier requiring less coats of paint to achieve the net result the Centre was trying to achieve. The durability of paint also is so easy to maintain and “kid friendly” especially in High traffic areas.
Director Amanda Dervaitis was thrilled with the results with the painting process and the Benjamin Moore Aura Paints used, “I had to open the door for the children the next day and there wasn’t an odour of paint!".

Here is what Amanda Dervaitis had to say...
I am so grateful to have worked with Paul and the ‘Walls Alive’ team to bring colour to my newly renovated Oxford Learning Centre. Their commitment to providing the very best product and service was second to none. I had no idea just how important that would be until we had some serious construction snags that posed the threat of not being able to open on schedule, which could have been devastating for my business.
Paul , Lil, Gerry and the rest of the team showed exceptional service from beginning to end of the project and it was clear that they are experts in their field. They were incredible helpful with product and colour selection, and were completely flexible to work within our timelines. Even after the project was held up for 3 weeks due to problems on-site, their painters came in on weekends, evening and even a statutory holiday, to ensure the work was done on time. They truly went above and beyond.
I was especially excited to use the Benjamin Moore Aura Series of paints because of my personal belief that we must provide the safest environment possible for children at any cost. Since we have over 100 students as young as 3 years old in our centre every day, I knew this was the right choice. I also felt it would be best because of its durability and ease of cleaning. Was I ever glad I did choose to use this line of paints when we had to open our doors just hours after the last coat and touch-ups had been completed! No one would have ever guessed that the painters had been in so recently. There was no trace of an odour and the walls were all dry! It has only been about 2 months since our centre has been painted, but we’ve already had to wash our walls (many, many times over!) and the colour is as true as it was on day one!
I have to mention how brilliant the actual colour is. Because I am part of a franchise system I have to use the prescribed colours for certain areas of my centre. The best way to describe them are, “fluorescent green and yellow” (technically “highlighter yellow”, ”green pear” and “green apple”). The colours are very dramatic and energizing – they certainly have an impact and almost everyone who walks in to our centre compliments the colour. This is not true of other centres that I’ve spoken with. They had opted to use “cheaper” paints and “gave up” after applying 4 or 5 coats before settling with the final lack-luster job. Paul and his crew achieved unbelievable, true colour with the Benjamin Moore Aura paint in only two coats!
I would recommend Paul and the ‘Walls Alive’ team to everyone without hesitation, as well as the Benjamin Moore Aura paints. I have had such a wonderful experience and without a doubt will work with Walls Alive and Benjamin Moore Aura paint on all of my future painting projects.
